Happy 3 Year Anniversary to Us!!!

I really can't believe that it has been 3 years since Monroe and I said "I do". In some ways it seems like a lifetime, but at the same time I still feel like we are newly married. 

We had a nice evening, we went out to dinner and enjoyed each others company. As we have the past 2 years we exchanged the traditional/modern anniversary gifts. We look at them both, the traditional and the modern and then on our own decide which one we are going to do for the other. I went the traditional route (leather) this year and got Monroe a new leather wallet. Monroe went the "modern" route (crystal) and got me two beautiful crystal Tiffany candle sticks. 

This past year has been the most challenging year for us, facing infertility and all that goes along with that. Although it has been a difficult road, we have learned a lot about each other and our relationship has grown deeper. I am so thankful that we are in this walk together. 

We are very excited about what our 4th year of marriage will look like. Last night at dinner we were talking about what our next anniversary will look like...we will be in a new city and hopefully with a baby on the way. Monroe added "maybe you will be in labor" haha. 

I love you Monroe and can't wait to see what the Lord has planned for us in this next year.
